Giveaway Period: The giveaway period begins at 12 a.m. CST June 3 and officially ends on August 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
Sponsor: The Sponsor of the giveaway is the Metropolitan Airport Authority of Rock Island County, Illinois (“MAA”) at the Quad Cities International Airport (“QC Airport”) 2200 69th Ave., PO Box 9009, Moline, Illinois 61265.
How to Enter: Enter online by visiting the Quad Cities International Airport (QC Airport website https://www.qcairport.com and completing the form and clicking the submit button (limit ONE online entry on the QC Airport website, PER eligible person with a valid email address per day). Entrants who do not win the first giveaway will still be eligible for the second giveaway and can continue entering daily. For your initial entry, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, primary reason for travel and email opt in for QC Airport. All subsequent daily entries will require email address only. A daily entry is considered an entry submitted within the same calendar day within the entrant’s time zone. Multiple entries per calendar day will result in disqualification. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older. All personal information obtained through submittal of entry will be used for the purposes of conducting the giveaway and to provide promotional materials relating to QC Airport. Entrants consent to use of their name, city, state, photograph and video for editorial, advertising, promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation. Entrants/Winner may be asked to participate in ceremonial voucher presentation including media, videography, photography or otherwise. When you enter online, you will be asked to consent to receive promotional emails and reminders from QC Airport. Consenting to receive such emails is required to be eligible to enter the giveaway.
Prize: Two (2) individuals will win the prize, which consists of one (1) voucher per winner, valued at up to $500 each. The MAA reserves the right to deny request for redemption. The reimbursement will only apply to 1) booked travel in the future or 2) newly booked travel. The voucher cannot be applied to completed trips prior to the contest. Voucher will only apply to amount requested up to $500. If total amount is less than $500, a cash payout will not be offered. Voucher cannot be used for multiple trips. All travel is subject to any and all restrictions imposed by the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, or QCIA Department of Public Safety. The prize is awarded “As Is”. Neither Sponsor nor any of its affiliates make or offer any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this giveaway or prize. The prize consists only of the item listed, is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, with no cash redemption.
Winner selection: One (1) grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing during the giveaway period. One (1) winner will be selected at random by the MAA by July 12, 2024 12:00 p.m. CST. One (1) winner will be selected at random by the MAA by August 23, 2024 12:00 p.m. CST. The winner will be contacted via by email. If the MAA is unable to contact the potential monthly prize winner within five (5) days of the initial attempt, if the potential monthly prize winner fails to return all requested forms fully executed, or if the potential prize winner fails to comply with these official rules, their place as a possible prize winner will be forfeited at the MAA’s discretion, and an alternate prize winner shall be selected. Winner may be asked to participate in ceremonial voucher presentation including media, videography, photography or otherwise at a location of the MAA’s choosing.
Eligibility: This contest is offered in the United States to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees or representatives of the MAA and their advertising agencies, including their immediate families, or other persons whose participation will create an appearance of impropriety (in the sole discretion of the MAA), are not eligible to enter. The MAA will not be responsible for late, misdirected or lost entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. The authorized account holder of the email address and the entrant must be the same person. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of the MAA and will not be returned to the entrant.
Odds: The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.
General Conditions: Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the opinion of the MAA, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the giveaway, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway, the MAA reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the giveaway, or to terminate the giveaway and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Duplicate entries in the same calendar day are considered fraudulent and will result in disqualification from the contest. Should the giveaway be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the QC Airport website. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the potential prize winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Such authorized account holder will be required to comply with these official rules, including but not limited to, the limitations hereafter stated. This contest is governed by the State of Illinois and all applicable federal and local laws and is void where restricted or prohibited. Any and all disputes, claims and actions arising out of or connected with this giveaway, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the American Arbitration Association with the proper forum and venue being in Rock Island County, Illinois. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this giveaway, but in no event attorney’s fees, or punitive, special or consequential damages. BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY AND ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, THE WINNER AGREES THAT ALL EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, COMMISSIONERS, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS OF THE SPONSOR, THE MAA, WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER FOR ANY LIABILITY, ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, TO WINNER OR OTHER PERSONS, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) INJURIES, LOSS OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO DEATH, INJURIES, DAMAGES OR LOSSES TO PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS GIVEAWAY OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST OR PRIZE-RELATED-ACTIVITY. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternative prize winner.
